Iran is stepping up uranium enrichment measures leaves world powers no alternative but to push for new sanctions, France's Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

There is increasing evidence, in lieu of the most recent report by the IAEA, and now major press outlets that Iran's continued obfuscation, brazen defiance, and delaying tactics point ever so clearly to the ardent desire for the Iranian regime to hide, mislead, and deflect their fervent quest for a potential capability to make a nuclear weapon. Now, we see the French, along with the other Permanent 5 members ( Russia, China, Britain, and the US) of the Security Council plus Germany have concluded there are no other alternatives than to isolate and sanction Iran's activities to that end. If anyone had any doubt as to the mounting evidence, coupled with Iran's previous provocations, threatening and toxic rhetoric, especially with regards to wiping certain countries "off the map", it now appears means can be added to motive for the world's judgment on Iran's nuclear ambitions.
